Balancing sleep and work? Read this!

“How to Stay Awake” by Luke Norton does exactly what it says on the tin, so to speak. I got hold of this book while I was struggling to balance studying for my business exams and getting enough sleep, so I went onto Amazon and looked for something that would help me. At first I thought that “How to Stay Awake” might be too short – I mean, I thought how much could you over in only 8 pages? – but, you know what? It contains all the necessary hints and tips – like a “manage your sleep” handbook – without getting too in depth to the extent where it’d become boring. Instead, what we have here in “How to Stay Awake” is a kind of mini bible, with essential tips such as surviving a cram session, avoiding falling asleep at work, driving while fatigued and working a night shift. Norton really knows his stuff and this is one book that I will refer to again and again. Recommended!

this book is very handy because im only ten and ofcourse want to stay up all night in my fort so i came across this book and itried what the book said and i go to bed at 9 p.m and end up staying up until 12:45 instead of 10:00. i followed the instructions and i have a mini fridge in my fort/clubhouse full of fruit and water. and instead of sleeping on my ine of my clubhouse ten beds i sleep on the floor. and when i was traveling to washington last summer with my brother step sister dad and stepmom i showed my stepmom the book ( my dad does not have his licenes) i nstead of driving all night she would stop at reststop's and she was SO much happier and less grouchy in the morning. i would like to thank the authour of this book and i hope whoever is thinking about reading this book reads my reveiw and changes their mind if they said no.

Author Luke W. Norton does a thorough job of enlightening readers on techniques to stay awake on those occasions when they may need to. I found it to be a real eye-opener, as it went beyond the logical methods that we all tend to think we should take when getting sleep isn't an option. What I enjoyed most about the book was that it didn't necessarily promote taking medication, prescribed or otherwise. The emphasis was placed on utilizing authentic strategies which would enable a person to naturally and organically drift into a state of slumber. I’d have to give this book a thumbs up as a recommended read for sure.
